Sprinkler systems vary in design and specifications, but some common features include:-

    • A water supply source, such as a public utility or a tank.
    • A pipe network to transport the water to the sprinklers.
    • A control valve to regulate the water flow. Sprinkler heads, which are designed to deliver water in a specific pattern or area.
    • A backflow preventer to stop water from flowing back into the system.
    • A timer or controller to regulate when the sprinklers turn on and off.
    • An irrigation controller to monitor the water pressure and adjust the sprinklers accordingly.
    • A rain sensor to detect when it is raining and adjust the sprinklers accordingly.

Mulching can be Performed in different ways

  • NOTE: This will be online calculator. The customer needs to enter values in following sequence to find count of sprinkler units required.
    • Select distance of throw (radius): 8mtr, 10 mtr, 12mtr, 15mtr, 18 mtr [VALUE IN MTR]
    • Select the size of Sprinkler Pipe: 20, 32, 63, 75, 90
    • Area of farm to irrigate: [VALUE IN SQ. FEETS]
    • Select the type of Sprinkler: Overhead or Mini
    • Total: [No. of Sprinkler Heads required]
    • Calculation Process: (Width/Radius * Length/Radius)
    • Working: Area: 10,000 sq. mtr (100mtr x 100mtr)
    • Radius: 10 mtr (for example)
    • Second sprinkler line will be installed 10 mtr from first sprinkler riser
  • NOTE:
    • One 32mm pipe can accommodate 10-12 sprinklers
    • One 25mm can accommodate 7-8 sprinklers

Irrigation sprinklers can be used for residential, industrial, and agricultural usage. It is useful on uneven land where sufficient water is not available as well as on sandy soil. The perpendicular pipes, having rotating nozzles on top, are joined to the main pipeline at regular intervals. When water is pressurized through the main pipe it escapes from the rotating nozzles. It gets sprinkled on the crop. In sprinkler or overhead irrigation, water is piped to one more central location within the field and distributed by overhead high-pressure sprinklers or guns.
